FREEZE FEST is a festival oriented on alternative art forms and the non-professional art scene. We offer space for creative freedom, unburdened by excessive financial or time commitments. We want to engage the general public, including students of art schools, professionals, as well as talented young artists. Originality and authenticity are being emphasized, while dull battening on current trends is eliminated.
The goal of Freeze Festival is to provide opportunity for those who want to take part in preparing and organizing the event, put their artwork on public display, or create their own pieces of art right on site as a part of the festival decorations. Participants can thus fulfil their creative potential. The festival provides space for gathering in a creative environment. It establishes a platform for mutual inspiration and may open new opportunities for cooperation.

By car – Travelling from Prague, two options of roughly the same length are available. You can take highway (E48), or a toll-free state road running through Hostivice and Unhošť. If travelling from Karlovy Vary, follow the E48 (this section is toll-free) and turn off at the exit to Nové Strašecí.
Parking lot next to the festival site is for free, however, parking space is limited. For this reason, we recommend you share a ride with as many people as possible.
Feel free to use our FB event to arrange for car shares.
By bus – There is a bus going to Libušín from Prague (Metro stop Nádraží Veleslavín, line A) several times a day. The closest stop to the venue is “Libušín, Důl Kladno”. If you prefer to have a short walk, you can get off at the main square “Libušín, náměstí”.
You can find connection here: http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz/autobusy/spojeni/
Full entrance fee for the whole festival Fri-Sun: CZK 300,00.
Reduced fee tickets are available from Saturday 4 p.m. for CZK 200,00.
Children up to 16 years get free entry and must be accompanied by their parents. Dogs are allowed at the festival site, however, consider sparing your pet the noise and leaving them home.
Parking and camping charges are included in the entrance fee.
Freeze Fest ranks among a few festivals running without corporate financing. The festival is entirely self-supporting.
There is a camping place at the festival site where you can put up your tent for free. Sleeping in a car is also an option. Remember to pack some extra warm clothes, the festival was given its name for a reason! :-)
Toilets and drinking water will be at your disposal. As for other modern conveniences such as showers… sorry, guys, you’ll have to do without them during the weekend.
There are some dangerous spots on the venue. Make sure to stay within the area marked out by tape and keep an eye on your kids. If possible, don’t bring your pets or keep them leashed at all times.
Children are warmly welcome at the festival! Children’s corner is available in the daytime, offering various workshops and fun activities. Bring your children along, they will enjoy the festival just as much as you!
